Siesta Beach – Main Beach Access Point

Located off of 942 Beach Rd, the crown jewel of Siesta Key is the main beach access point to Siesta Beach. The main beach access & parking is close to the stationed access point # 11. Consistently ranked among the nation’s top beaches, Siesta Beach offers picture-perfect sunsets, gentle waves, and a variety of amenities. Remarkably, the sand stays cool since the crystals disperse heat easily, so you can rest easy knowing that your children can play freely without overheating.

Since the sand stays cool under the Florida sun, there are several outdoor activities suitable for all ages, including: tennis courts, volleyball courts, a shaded playground, & picnic & barbeque areas. Siesta Village is a mere 3-minute walk away from this beach, which offers a wide-range of dining and entertainment options from gourmet donuts, coffee, and seafood to award-winning steakhouses.

There are over 900 public parking spaces next to this access point, which is the largest lot of any Siesta Key beach access points. Since Siesta Beach is the most popular and consistently packed, be sure to arrive earlier in the day so you can snag a parking spot.

Beach Access Point # 2 – Siesta Beach

Near 41 Beach Rd, you will find the second access point at the northern tip of Siesta Beach. While it shares the same breathtaking vistas, its slightly quieter ambiance appeals to those seeking a more tranquil beach experience. Grab your beach read, slather on the sunscreen, and let the gentle rhythm of the waves wash away your worries. This beach access point leads to the remnants of an older pier and the rocky structure behind it.

While there is no public parking lot at this access point, there are select spots on the street where a permit is required to park long term. The beach access point is walking distance from Siesta Village, so you may not need to worry about parking if you are staying at a nearby Siesta Key Dreams rental location.

Beach Access Point # 3 – Siesta Beach

Located near the intersection of Beach & Columbus Rd (100 Beach Rd), this access point offers convenient entry to the powdery sands and sparkling waters of Siesta Beach. While more modest in size compared to some of its counterparts, Access Point #3 exudes charm and allure, attracting visitors seeking a more intimate beach experience. Surrounded by lush vegetation and swaying palms, it provides a secluded retreat for sun-seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. Though parking can be limited during peak hours, patrons often find spaces along Ocean Boulevard or nearby residential streets. Whether you’re craving a peaceful sunset stroll or a refreshing dip in the sea, Beach Access Point #3 promises a rejuvenating escape amidst the beauty of Siesta Key.

Beach Access Point # 4 & 5 – Siesta Beach

At the intersection of Beach Rd and Avenida Navarra, you’ll spot Access Point # 4! Access Point # 5 is nearby on Beach Rd and Ocean Blvd. Both locations are a short walk southwest of the Siesta Key Village Strip. With some of the best shopping & dining experience Siesta Key has to offer, you can enjoy a luxurious day on Siesta Key and take a short stroll down to the beach through either access point.

Both points lead out to Siesta Beach, which offers you crystal clear waters and white sand that you won’t forget. The main difference between these two access points is parking availability.

Access Point #4 has very limited parking, being about 4-6 vehicle spots on side streets. If you are traveling and need to find more guaranteed parking, this access point may not be the best choice. Access Point #5, however, does have more parking options on side streets with approximately 20-30 spaces in rotation depending on availability and beach popularity that day.

Beach Access Point # 7 – Siesta Beach

Further down Beach Rd, off of Calle De La Siesta, Siesta Beach Access Point #7 cuts through a long stretch of greenery to lead you down to the beachfront. There is a small lot at the front of this access point that can fit up to about 40 vehicles at a given time.

Beach Access Point # 8 & 9 – Siesta Beach

The next two access points are essentially next to each other at Plaza De Las Palmas at Beach Road. Access Point # 8 is to the west and # 9 is to the east of the street. Similar to Access Point 7, the strip travels through a path of protected plant life leading down to Siesta beach.

Access Point 8 has a small lot that fits approximately 40 vehicles, while Access Point 9 does not have substantial parking opportunities as it is surrounded by condominiums. You may see a small strip that can fit about 20 cars along the side street, but these spaces are typically filled.

Beach Access Point # 10 – Siesta Beach

With similar plant scenery to Beach Access Points 7-9, this access point does not have any parking available in the surrounding area. This is strictly for pedestrian & walking access only, so it is not recommended to travel towards this access point unless you are in a nearby area to walk or choose to park at a different point. The cross street at this access point is Calle Del Invierno.

Beach Access Point # 11 – Siesta Beach

Towards the north end of Siesta Beach at the cross street of Avenida Del Mare is Access Point # 11. With plant life surrounding the path, this provides access to the longest stretch of beach on the island.

This particular access point also does not have any available parking. Alternatively, you could look to the Siesta Beach Public Park nearby, or travel down Beach Rd a bit further to the main Siesta Beach access point. There is a public parking lot at 948 Beach Rd that contains a plethora of spaces and is your best chance at securing parking, especially early in the day! Outside of the main beach access point, this point is the closest to public restrooms, lifeguard stations, and concession stands on the beach.

Beach Access Point # 12 – Crescent Beach

If you’re looking to travel down the Siesta Key to visit a more quiet beach with the opportunity to snorkel or dive, this is a great place for you! Located at Old Stickney Point & Midnight Pass Rd, you’ll spot the Stickney Point Bridge on the south end of the island, across the street from Captain Curt’s Crab and Oyster Bar.

The parking closest to this Access Point is pretty slim, fitting about 20 cars. The beach access is fairly narrow, so it is recommended to park close to the street for safety. If you’re looking to snag free parking, do come early. There is a paid parking lot nearby that is privately owned as well to give you more options. If you’re interested in the Siesta Key Breeze Trolley, there is a stop close to this access point at Midnight Pass Rd & Seaside Drive!

Beach Access Point # 13 – Point of Rocks (Crescent Beach)

At 6900 Point of Rocks Rd, Access Point # 13 features a picturesque stretch of coastline renowned for its unique rock formations and vibrant marine life. Strap on your mask and fins, and prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty that lies beneath the surface.

Do note that this access point does not offer any nearby parking spaces and is primarily pedestrian access. However, it is not too far from the parking options mentioned in Access Point # 12, so refer to that section for guidance!

Beach Access Point # 14 – Turtle Beach

Beach Access Point # 14 is the one and only access point to Turtle Beach, located at 8918 Midnight Pass Rd.
