Siesta Key hosts a weekly Farmers Market in support of small businesses, local farming, and culture. You will consistently find a collection of the most unique facets the island has to offer, from locally sourced vegetables and fruits, artisanal goods, exclusive artwork, and original items.
In addition to freshly grown produce and raw goods, many residents come to sell home-baked pastries and bread, specialty cheeses and coffees, and homemade products like soap, jams, jewelry, glasswork and artwork! This farmers market is the perfect place to get a snapshot of the local community and to purchase handmade gifts you cannot get anywhere else.
Typically 25 to 30 vendors will line up each Sunday to create elaborate displays of their handmade products to share with the Siesta Key community. Before heading to the beach, this is the perfect stop to get a feel for the local community. This farmers market tradition began around 2008 and has been running strong for over fifteen years now.
In addition to handmade products from local vendors, the Siesta Key Farmers Market tends to feature locally grown and sustainably sourced vegetables and fruits like spring greens, herbs, and strawberries. Food vendors such as Chucos, LLC serves up loaded burritos and tacos with an El Paso inspired flavor and family recipes.
The farmers market typically hosts entertainment and music as well to showcase local talent in the Siesta Key region. The positive atmosphere cannot be beat!

Operating Hours
The market is open on Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM. Do note that some vendors may close early, so plan on attending during the peak hours of 10-11 AM to see all that the farmers market has to offer!
Location Details & Parking
The market is located at 5211 Ocean Blvd in the heart of Siesta Key Village. Parking can be found around Siesta Village, alongside Ocean Blvd, or even near the beach at Siesta Beach access point 2! If you’re staying at a Siesta Key Dreams rental, this farmers market is a mere 3 minute walk from most locations.
Sarasota Farmers Market
About 10 miles away, Sarasota also holds an elaborate Farmers Market on Saturdays from 7 AM – 1 PM year-round! Situated in the downtown Sarasota area at the intersection of Main St and Lemon Ave, this farmers market extends down First St to the North and Pineapple Ave to the south.
Over 80 vendors span across categories such as food & beverage, artisans, plants, produce, and services! See their website for a full list of vendors that arrive weekly. Since there are so many vendors at this farmers market, check out the map posted on their Instagram page so you can hit your favorite spots. Or, take a stroll down Lemon Ave where most of the vendors are located!
Two live music stations play on both sides of Lemon Ave, one off of State St and the other off of First St. Farmers market enthusiasts travel to Sarasota on Saturdays and hit Siesta Key Farmers Market the next day!!
