This establishment prides themselves on fully avoiding liquid flavorings and replacing that with infusing real food ingredients for a fuller bodied taste. There are four award-winning rums that Siesta Key Rum crafts in-house:
- Toasted Coconut Rum: Infused with real toasted coconut, this rum is a fan-favorite and recommended by itself or with a splash of pineapple juice!
- Spiced Rum: Perfect as is, using old school methods to infuse spices and a bit of honey for sweetness in this rum
- Silver Rum: Crystal clear and acts as the perfect base for cocktails or mixing with juice or cola!
- Coffee Rum: Crafted without any concentrates, this rum infuses real Colombian coffee beans
Siesta Key Rum offers a few exclusive bottles as well, such as the Distiller’s Reserve and Beer Barrel Spiced. Distiller’s Reserve ages in barrels using the traditional solera method so that the spices, honey, and Florida cane sugar refine with time – perfect to enjoy neat or over ice. Beer Barrel Spiced rum is unique in that the rum ages in used beer barrels. Each batch is unique and infuses different flavors to the rum depending on the beer used!

History
The Siesta Key Rum storefront contains lots of history as well. The original bar was built in 1954 and in 2020, the Bahi Hut replaced their old bar and offered it to Siesta Key Rum! Reconstructed a few years later, the Bahi Hut bar history lives on as a Sarasota landmark in the Infinity Room. Inside the Infinity Room, you will see rows and rows of kegs that are storing and naturally aging each of the Siesta Key rums. There is also a speciality cocktail menu that changes with the seasons and holidays!
The distillery & tasting tour is located at their original storefront in North Sarasota. This business also visits the local Farmers Market in the heart of Siesta Key Village every Sunday to sell bottles of specialty rum.
